CSR AI is an AI phone agent inside Housecall Pro, the field service management software for home service businesses. Calls forwarded from the business’s line are answered around the clock; the AI answers questions using the services and prices set up in the account, books jobs onto the Housecall Pro calendar, and logs a summary of each call. Callers who ask for a person can be forwarded to a number the business picks or to a Housecall Pro Assist live agent for note-taking. AI call answering is a paid add-on with no published price, while AI website chat is included in all plans.

CSR AI call answering is sold separately (‘CSR AI sold separately’; ‘a paid feature that can be enabled’ in account settings), and Housecall Pro publishes no price, per-call rate or allowance for it. It requires a Housecall Pro subscription: Basic is $59 a month billed annually or $79 billed monthly (1 user), Essentials $149 or $189 (5 users), and Max $299 or $329 (8 users, then $35 per extra user), before promotions shown on the pricing page. AI website chat (‘CSR AI (chat)’) is included in all plans. Escalating calls to HCP Assist live agents needs a separate HCP Assist subscription, priced by coverage and not published; Housecall Pro’s terms bill HCP Assist calls from connection, rounded up to the next 30 seconds, plus 30 seconds of after-call work. A Housecall Pro blog post (August 28, 2026) describing CSR AI says plans ‘start at $59 per month and come with unlimited minutes’, which doesn’t match the add-on statements.
